Sam Bluske-Palmer is a rising talent in US road running, with top-10 finishes at events including the USATF Half Marathon Championships, the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon, the USATF 10-Mile Championships and the USATF Marathon Championships. Although she never ran faster than a 5-minute mile in high school and did not qualify for NCAA Nationals as a collegiate athlete at Iowa State University, Sam’s persistence and dedication to the sport have paid off in remarkable ways. Post-collegiately, she’s run a half marathon personal best of 71:07 and, in 2019, recorded an impressive 2:29:07 at the Frankfurt Marathon. Sam lives and trains in Tuscaloosa, AL with her husband Will. She is also 2018 RRCA Roads Scholar Award recipient.
