Southern California surprisingly got a nice and cool spring, making it perfect for running and cycling for the past three weeks. I am sure our friends with COROS seized this opportunity to get a lot of mileage in. Hopefully, you are over halfway on your annual goals already!
Outdoor sports is one of the most enjoyable activities that exist in the world. At team COROS, some of us are technology enthusiasts, while some put in a lot of hours training for running, cycling, swimming and climbing. There are a lot of exciting new technologies in the industry that can be applied to outdoor sports, enabling our athletes to become faster, stronger, and safer – all while having fun at the same time. That’s the foundation of why we started this company.
In the past six months, we have spent countless hours working with athletes worldwide to test our first multisport watch, PACE, before it launched to the public. In the beta testing phase, our testers have contributed a total of 5,055 runs, 3,127 ride, 755 swims and 46 triathlons. That’s a total of 6,732 hours training and 43,577 miles (70,131 km) of distance. With the help from our testers, our PACE has received 460 feedback cases, 528 bug fixes and 42 versions of software updates. Although, our engineers are still working very hard to bring additional software features, we finally believe PACE is ready for the athletes worldwide. We will continually provide updates here for future software releases.
